Last year I declared that this day was named the day of honesty.
Then let´s be totally honest, so here we go…
* Taking a deep breath *
You have been MISLEAD your whole life as an entrepreneur. Yeah, I said it.
* Waiting and looking up towards the sky *
Since there apparently isn´t some almighty internet marketing being out there that massages my head with lightning bolts when I speak the truth…
…I´ll continue. (Darn it! I was counting on that this was going to be a short blog post.)
You have been fed the LIES by the self-proclaimed experts for WAY too long.
They say that in order for you to succeed online you need…
lots of TRAFFIC so you can build your email list fast…
lots of SOCIAL SHARES so your post can go viral…
lots of COMMENTS so you´ll have an engaged community…
But worst of all…
…they say that you only need to follow your passion and the (online) promised land will appear.
To that I say: BULLSH*T!
You probably realize that you´ve been a victim to these lies as well, and you´re becoming…
P*SSED OFF!
Heck, you might event feel the urge to blow out some steam.
Like punching a hole in the wall.
Hold on! No need to break your hand just yet (you might need it when we are doing high fives later).
Relax. And breath. I got your back (pinky swear).
But before I proceed, it´s time for the one million dollar question:
Do you know which awesome day it is today?
If you answered that it`s my birthday, then a flying double high five to you! *SLAP* *SLAP*
(See, I told you that you would need your hands unbroken.)
But the day isn`t just awesome because it`s my birthday.
The day is truly awesome because I spend my birthday giving praise and thanks to other people, like I did with this blog post last year.
This seems to have become a tradition for me, and I´ll continue to do it (at least for now).
But before I start with giving thanks to the long list of awesome people, I want to talk about…
The 3 Deadly Vanity Metrics That Will Kill Your Business
These metrics are no joke (I´m serious).
They are commonly known as…
traffic…
social shares…
and comments.
The most dangerous part with these metrics, is that they are full of deception.
They are kind of like a wolf in sheep´s clothing.
They look so innocent, cute and fluffy…
And when you think about your vanity metrics growing, you get all warm and fuzzy inside.
STOP right there!
Don´t let the big bad wolf fool you.
That is what will kill your business.
And truth be told, I have been a victim of all these 3 vanity metrics:
– Traffic: I was able to create blog posts that would go viral at will (one of them brought in 20 231 page views in 6 days when my blog was spanking new)
– Social shares: I was able to create blog posts that got tons of social shares (one of my blog posts had 1600+ shares in a few weeks)
– Comments: I was able to create blog posts that got a truckload of comments (one of my posts have 180 comments)
And this happened in my first 14 months of blogging.
You might be thinking: “Tor, I hear you, but the money is in your email list.”
Did I mention that I built an email list of 3000 subscribers organically (yup, not a dime on ads) within my first year? About 4500 subscribers, if I count the unsubscribes.
Here´s the thing…
When I talk about success in your online business, I mean YOU actually generating revenue.
I learned it the hard way.
And I got to be honest…
being mislead by the 3 vanity metrics almost killed my business.
You can listen to my story when I got interviewed on…
* Drum roll *
…the #1 business podcast in the world – John Lee Dumas´s EOFire, where I talk about Network with influencers and position your brand to attract the RIGHT clients fast.
And according to my friend, Navid Moazzez, the interview was REALLY good.
BOOM!
(I´m a bit unsure why I flashed the EOFire badge there. Perhaps I have been watching too many crime series lately, where the police are flashing badges. Anyway, more exposure to my friend, JLD.)
You might be thinking: “Okay, Tor. I get it. You almost killed your business at the end of your first year. But can you REALLY recover from that?”
Good question indeed.
Judge for yourself.
Here are some of…
The Accomplishments In My Second Year In Business:
- Increased my revenue with 20x
- Cracked the code on high-end business coaching
- Helped my clients get awesome results. One of my clients was earning $1000 per month, and after 66 days working with me he had generated $100 000 in sales. And another client will hit multiple seven-figures in 2017 (and he started from zero).
- Created The High-End Low-End Technique: Started as a business coach and went from 0 to $3000 per month in less than 3 months working a few hours per week.
- Created The Pre-Free Technique: Built an email list of 777 subscribers and made $6000 in total sales ($4000 to the 777 subscribers). That´s a conversion rate on 1% + based on the whole email list, not based on email open rate (which Ramit Sethi says is pretty good).
- Created the The Zero Cost High-Ticket Sales Blueprint: This resulted in me making $18 000 in sales in 2 days from Twitter.
- Got featured in a book with Seth Godin, Chris Brogan, Brian Clark, Grant Cardone and Yaro Starak
- Interviewed Neil Patel, Yaro Starak, Danny Iny and lots of other influencers for my course Massive Exposure From Scratch 2.0
- Interviewed Pat Flynn
- Was a speaker at Navid Moazzez´s mastermind in Barcelona
- Got featured on 158 blogs in 14 months (old news, I know). I haven´t had the time to count all my features now
- I have over 1800+ organic backlinks to my blog
- I got interviewed on John Lee Dumas #1 business podcast Entrepreneur On Fire
- My outreach technique was included in Jon Morrow´s Traffic course
- Got invited to a partnership with Thinkific
- #50 On Top 100 Personal Development Blog 2016
- 2nd Best Post on SumoHacks in 2015
- #8 On Top 40 Personal Development and Leadership Blogs
- Ranked Among The 50 Top Blog Posts in 2016
- The Most Watched Speaker at Ciprian Soleriu´s Launch With Partners Summit (humble to be speaking alongside Neil Patel and Danny Iny)
- Invited to speak at a truckload of virtual summits
- The successful entrepreneur Farnoosh Brock said the following about me: “His knowledge of business building and growing is phenomenal”
- When the successful coach Jennifer Gresham referred a potential client to me, she called me: “the genius marketer I know”
- I am becoming a father to a new baby daughter, Nora, in Aril 2017. Yeah, I know, not exactly a business accomplishment, but still exceptionally proud to become a father again
Even all of the above is kind of cool.
What I am most proud of is that I have been able to re-design my business, so I can have more time with my family, while generating more revenue in my business.
Yes, a hard moment where I was 1 inch from getting burned out forced me to re-design my schedule and business.
Note: Nothing of the above would have been possible, if I didn`t have a clear business growth strategy.

You might be thinking: “Okay, Tor. You managed to grow you business fast, and that`s good for you. But I don`t have as much time to spend on building my business as you do.”
I hear what you are saying.
When I was building my business the second year Sara was becoming pregnant with our second baby (her name is Nora). So I really had to spend more time helping her out (naturally).
Yeah, and did I mentioned that Luna had started in kindergarten and we were all knocked down by the cold 3 times? Each time we were lying in bed for about 1,5 to 2 weeks.
Did I also mention that during that time, I managed to reduce my workload while getting WAY better results?
It´s not about working harder. It´s about working smarter.
Once you GET it. Everything changes.
I know it´s weird in the start, but you can get there too.
I believe in you!
Note: I need to give you the heads up that this is a HUGE post. It´s on 12 000+ words. Yes, you read correct. This is mainly due to that there is sooo many people that I need to thank for my success. I should have written more about every single person, but hey! There is no more than 24 hours per day and my baby daughter, Luna, needs some attention as well.
Side-note: My better half, Sara, keeps reminding me that Luna is actually 1,5 year now, and when she asks me how long I am going to call her a baby, I answer…
…until she is 40 years old.
So I added an overview of the different parts, so you can jump right to the section you want. Who doesn´t like some digital teleportation?
Note:I have connected with so many great people, that if I forgot to mention your name here, please forgive me. Just send me an email and I will lash myself with a frozen polar bear paw.

Part 4: Why It Wasn´t Weird That James Wedmore Talked About My B*lls
Part 5: The Awesome People That Literally Saved My Business
Okay, the most natural thing would be to start with part 1, right?
Part 1: The 3 Major Breakthroughs That 20x My Income Within A Year
Yes, there´s no typo in the sub headline.
20x the income within a year?
Yup.
That´s kind of CRAZY bananas?
I would assume so.
But let´s not beat around the bush.
What did I do?
While I in my first year of business cracked the code on getting traffic, social shares, comments, email subscribers and ranking on top of Google…
…the second year I focused on EARNING money (and yes, that´s why I haven´t written many blog posts lately).
I was actually too busy building my business.
Yeah, I know. I Feel that I abandoned you a bit.
Despite that being really hard, I needed to focus on earning money in my business to feed my family.
(And Luna needs diapers too. For some weird reason, I can´t get diapers at the grocery store by showing a snapshot of my Google Analytics dashboard. Unfair, I know!)
I think you might have done the same, ey?
But I will be more active on my blog. If not, I promise that my baby daughter Luna will kick me in the stomach when I am lying on the couch after I have eaten dinner.
Yes, it HAS happened before.
And Luna kicks like a horse. No joke.
I have trained Thai Boxing, Tae-Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, and I can say one thing…
…those apparently innocent baby feet has a lot of gun powder.
And when she has a bad hair day, she gets very cranky and kicks EVEN harder.
Like in the picture below…
(Yes, I admit that Luna was not the only one having a bad hair day. And, no. I don´t know why my mouth is open.)
Then over to the real question.
How did I earn more money in my business?
Well, it started with myself sitting at my desk when I was about to hit my one year anniversary.
Even though I had built an email list of 3000 people organically, got featured on 100 blogs and won a few awards my first year…
…I felt like a TOTAL FAILURE.
And that was despite the influencers I knew and my peers perceiving me as a success online.
Why?
Because I wasn´t earning the money I felt that I should compared to all the work that I had put in.
And I seriously needed to step up my game so I could provide for my family.
Albert Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
So I knew that I needed to pull my sh*t together and do things WAY differently.
I needed to go WAY outside my comfort zone.
And I got to admit.
It was SCARY as heck!
Long story short, I went against the stream, narrowed down my niche and reposition my brand…
The results?
I had 3 major breakthroughs:
Major breakthrough #1: The High-End Low-End Technique
I found out that the best way to verify a new niche BEFORE even considering to enter that niche was to first start selling my expertise as a service.
My philosophy was super simple: if I could get people to pay, then it was something that they wanted.
And yes, I got them to pre-pay for the service.
This approach actually makes you get paid while doing market research.
Note: Needless to say, you need to be really good at what you do, if you are going to get paid for your services.
Major breakthrough #2: The Pre-Free Technique
I created a way to verify the topic of a new email list BEFORE creating the free course. As you probably know creating a free course takes A LOT of time. That is if you are going for high-quality content.
Then I sold my premium product that was aligned to that specific topic BEFORE I created it.
Note: I already knew exactly what my course was going to include before I pre-sold it.
Major breakthrough #3: The Zero Cost High-Ticket Sales Blueprint
I created a system to get high-end clients with no email list and without spending a dime on ads.
The biggest takeaways were:
– The only way to make sure that people want your product / service is to get them to pre-pay.
– Why go low-end when you can go high-end?
Zig Ziglar said, “When you help enough people get what they want, you will finally get what you want”.
And that was the main driver behind everything I did this year (even more than last year)…
…to genuinely and wholeheartedly help people.
Did that work?
Well, one of my clients was earning $1000 per month, and after 66 days working with me he had generated $100 000 in sales.
Another client will hit multiple seven-figures in 2017 (and he started from zero).

Okay, now that we have covered the boring part.
Let´s jump to the more fun Frank Kern part…
Part 2: When Frank Kern Slapped Me In The Face (And I Kinda Liked It)
Short version:
April. San Diego, La Jolla. Alchemy Event. Frank Kern. Slap. Liked It.
Longer version:
I assume that when you are about to read the longer version from a trip to San Diego, more specifically, La Jolla, you are expecting…
pictures of me getting up early in the morning to catch my flight…
pictures of me eating breakfast (like the silly “Oh! Look what I just ate now”-pictures)…
pictures of me travelling to the airport…
pictures of me on the airport pointing at the gate…
pictures of me forcing myself into the pilot cabin…
pictures of me doing a selfie smiling with the pilot while 3 stewardesses are throwing themselves at me (hoping to do the takedown of the year).
Well, sorry to disappoint you.
This is not a travel blog.
Let´s be honest…
we both know why you are HERE at this specific section of the blog post.
You just want to read the part about me being slapped in the face by Frank Kern.
Disclaimer: If you really hoped that I was physically slapped by Frank, I have two things to say. Thing 1: You are sick. Thing 2: If that was the case, this blog post wouldn´t have been written. I would probably have sued Frank for just 1 year of his income from his 12 automated funnels. That´s fair, right? Yeah, and they just happen to generate about $24 millions per year (true story).
Yeah, the last part was a joke. The suing part. Not Frank´s revenue.
That beings said, if you still want to read about the “being slapped in the face”-part, I can assure you that it´s what Frank would have called…
pretty cool.
But before we cover that part, let´s talk about…
The 3 Cool Things That Happened In San Diego That I Won´t Tell My Grandmother
Not surprisingly, we´ll start with cool thing number uno…
Suit The Heck Up
Frank Kern´s Alchemy event was a 2 days event. And I wanted to get a front row seat (which I did), so I suited up and waited for 1 hour before the doors opened.
You might be thinking: “Tor, that is crazy. Why didn´t you just sleep longer?”
Here´s the thing.
Due to my jet lag, I was waking up 4 am (PST) unable to sleep.
And in addition to wanting a front row seat, I wanted to network with people.
Did it work? Absolutely.
But that is not the cool part.
The cool part is actually that I was wearing a suit, while other people were walking around in shorts and t-shirts (like they were going to the beach.)
And there´s nothing wrong with that.
The funny thing is that the next morning…
EVERYONE else had suited up too.
This also includes super successful membership site guru, Chris Luck. Which I happened to sit next to. And needless to say, he is very humble and he totally rocks.
If you ask Chris, though. He´ll probably tell you that there were other reasons for him only suiting up the second day. Maybe he had two suitcases, and the one with the suit was kidnapped by one of the cleaning staff employees at Hyatt Regency, La Jolla.
And when Chris finally agreed to the ransom, Chris setting up a membership site for the kidnapper, his suitcase with suit were returned.
Who truly knows?
So if you are really wondering about what happened, please send an email to Chris right now. Here´s the email…
Nah, just kidding.
Even though I got his personal email, I would never share it. Well, unless Frank Kern gave me 1 year of revenue from his 12 funnels.
Sorry Chris, we all have our own kryptonite.
Then over to cool thing number does…
Getting Admiration From 7-Figure Earners
Do you know what one of the most awesome parts with events is?
To actually meet and connect with other people in a genuine way.
Without any strategy nor desire to find people that will help you to grow your business.
Because at the end of the day…
you just want to have fun.
I got to know a bunch of people.
Some I had coffee with…
Some I had lunch with…
Some I had breakfast with…
Some I had dinner with…
Some I had a heck of party with.
Okay, I got to admit that there is one more thing that happened that I think is pretty awesome.
I asked people what they were doing, and then they naturally asked me what I was doing.
I told them about my High-End Low-End Technique and my Pre-Free Technique.
And guess what?
Not only were they impressed by what I had done – they said it was brilliant.
Yeah, and did I mention that a few of these people were 7-figure earners?
On second thought, don´t answer that question. The sub headline gave it away, right? Darn it!
But it´s still kind of CRAZY!
It was an exceptionally humbling and proud experience at once.
And it was reassuring to know that I was probably doing something right.

And which part is next?
If you said cool thing number tres, then a high five to you!
*SLAP*
The Rudeness That Only Frank Kern Can Get Away With (Yeah, The Slapping Part)
Okay, this is the part that you are dying to read, right?
She slapping part.
As the disclaimer stated previously in this post, there´s no physically slapping her. So it´s still safe for the kids.
Long story short.
The first day on Frank Kern´s Alchemy event started like this.
Everyone was sitting in their chairs super excited about what was going to happen.
Then Frank Kern entered the stage.
And he started right away by SLAPPING us in the face with sales pitches, almost before saying hello.
My first thought was, “Are you freakin´ kidding me?”
But then I realized that he did it in such a blunt and laid back way, that, well, I hate to say it…
…I kind of liked it.
He said that he was going to start the whole event by pitching us two things.
Thing 1:
He asked if our deposit that we had paid to reserve our spots for the event could go to a charity. Later we would be given a form that we needed to fill out, if we wanted to give our deposit to the charity.
Thing 2:
He told us he would pitch us to join his implementation workshop (with Infusionsoft) and then he quickly mentioned his mastermind group.
Yeah, so it was literally three pitches.
Frank, even though you are cool, we can still count.
Then he did something else.
He thanked us all for coming and it really meant a lot to him that we were travelling from all over the world to attend his event…
…when we had NO CLUE what it was going to be about.
Because all he had told us in advance was that it was going to be awesome and that he was going to teach us some new high level stuff.
And then he said that if anyone felt bad about this, and was regretting that they had come. They could leave right now, and he would personally pay the flight ticket.
How many people do you think left the room?
ZERO.
And people were smiling and nodding.
Because seeing the true power of Kern in action is entertaining and extraordinary.
You are sitting there telling yourself that you know he is using his ninja NLP stuff (even though he says he doesn´t know NLP), and the most crazy part…
…you not only LIKE it
…you know that you want whatever he is going to offer.
And then you think, “Darn this Kern guy is GOOD at what he does.”
How was the rest of the event?
Awesome.
Note: There is a reason why Frank is structuring his opening like this. And it obviously works like crazy. I will probably break that down in another blog post.

Okay, so enough about all the awesomeness that happened in San Diego.
Let´s jump back to cold Norway.
You don´t that it´s cold here? Look this…
Okay, where were we?
Yes, travelling back to Norway.
More specifically…
…Oslo.
Part 3: The Craziest Dinner In My Life With Farnoosh Brock (Seriously)
When the awesome people I know visit Oslo, we hook up for a coffee or dinner.
When the successful entrepreneur Farnoosh Brock and her better half, Andy, arrived in Oslo, it was definitely dinner on the schedule.
Ever met someone for the first time and you felt that you have known each other for ages?
This was the case with Farnoosh and Andy.
In addition to a lot laughter, there was also a lot of high level biz talk.
The dinner was epic crazy (in a good way).
It was a moment when I was thinking, if awesomeness and happiness were to marry, this feeling would be it´s child.
Note: If you look at the picture above, the woman with the stroller actually thinks she becomes invisible just by crouching a few inches. No David Copperfield disappearance there.
When I looked at the pictures that were taken of Farnoosh and me, I said to her: “Hey Farnoosh, you are pointing at me on all the pictures. Why?”
She replied: “Of course I am. You are a superstar.”
I was smiling and telling her thanks for the confidence and pressure (and for not saying that she was pointing at my stomach. Of course it stands out after eating a 5 course meal!)
But I was also a bit nervous. Because now I had to REALLY step up my game.
Want to hear something cool?
After our dinner which lasted for more than 3 hours, she wrote a recommendation for me on LinkedIn:
Needless to say, I returned the gesture.
I am so humble to be able to connect and meet awesome and successful entrepreneurs like Farnoosh.
Biz-talk aside, I got a new good friend for life!

Okay, so now we have been in cold Norway. How about we go somewhere warmer and more exotic?
Like California, Laguna Beach?
Yeah, that wasn´t really a question.
We are going there regardless, so sit tight…
Part 4: Why It Wasn´t Weird That James Wedmore Talked About My B*lls
Yeah, I know that the sub headline sounded a bit too weird.
No worries, it´s not what you think. This blog post is still appropriate for children, so no need to throw your child away from the computer while he / she is singing “I believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly.
Note: I just want to make it perfectly clear that I absolutely DO NOT support throwing children in the air. Yeah, and that also goes without saying for other living creatures. Hmm…the only exception might be birds, though.
Short version:
August. Laguna Beach, California. Exclusive workshop. James Wedmore. Talk about balls. Not weird.
Longer version:
The first evening we were asked to write on James´ dream board.
If you zoom in on the picture below (top right), you can see that I write that I want to help James with his goal…
…to hit 7-figures launches.
During my lifetime I have met a ton of people and been on lots of events.
That being said, James is one of a kind.
The event in Laguna Beach was EPIC.
The great thing about James is that he is very easy going and down to earth.
In addition, he is super successful and really good with strategy. And one of his big super powers is to teach others how to do awesome stuff.
No point in being really freakin´ good at something, if you can´t teach other people to do it, right?
At least not when you are actually making a living by teaching people stuff online.
Meet Chelsea. She happens to be James´ awesome wife and they are running the business together.
She is very business savvy, and you could say that she´s the backbone in the business.
If James finds out about me saying that, he will probably not deny it publicly risking Chelsea making him do the dishes for the rest of his life.
That being said, he will probably force me to do push-ups while smelling his old socks, and then record it one video and put it out on his YouTube channel.
So please don´t tell him about that. Pretty please with sugar on top.
Here is James with three awesome woman from his Inner Circle Mastermind; Jasmine Star, Rachel Luna and Amber McCue.
These female entrepreneurs are doing very well.
Nah, who are we kidding? They are actually killing it in the jungle!
Eh, I don´t know if that is an expression.
I just invented it, and it sounded cool.
So now we´ll start to use it. If someone is killing it BIG time, then they are killing it in the jungle.
Agree?
Cool.
Here is James with one of his students Rick Mulready.
And Rick is definitely killing it in the jungle!
He is about to hit 7-figures in his third year after having James as a coach.
CRAZY bananas, I know!
Kind of boring being at an event, if you can´t grab some beer with awesome folks, ey?
I´m here with David, Diego and Chase. Good times for sure!
You still there?
Of course you are. You wanted to read about James talking about my b*lls, you perv!
No worries, I would too if I read that sub headline.
Let´s jump into the story.
Long story short, I was giving some praise to James in the workshop among 60 peeps.
I told him that I had been spending over six-figures over the last few years in coaching, premium courses, travel and events, and it was first now that I felt that I had found my new mentor…
…the taxi driver that was picking me up from the airport.
Nah, just kidding. It´s James.
Then I said that I was a top performer and a perfectionist (even though I do my best trying not to be). I said that I knew what I need to do in order to raise my game, I just needed to stop over-thinking stuff, GROW some b*lls and go out and freakin´ do it!
Later that day James told me that I already had b*lls, I just needed to get out of my comfort zone and take more action.
His support and his faith in me means the world to me.
So I started to take some massive action, and since I was able to increase my revenue with 20x.
Note: James Wedmore´s Inner Circle is the REAL deal. I am definitely joining in 2018. Click here to learn more about James Wedmore´s Inner Circle.

Okay, from talking about b*lls in Laguna Beach, let´s jump to the rest of the people that I couldn´t have succeeded without…
Part 5: The Awesome People That Literally Saved My Business
Listen, no successful people have ever been able to make it to the top without help from other people.
That´s a FACT.
If a successful person would say, “I did it all by myself. I had no mentors. I didn´t need any business coaching. And I didn´t need support from anyone.”
…Then watch his / her nose very closely.
Because it will start to GROW.
I´m always nervous before making these gratitude posts.
Afraid that I will have forgotten someone.
And if I had the time, which I don´t, I would have written a specific blog post dedicated to EVERY SINGLE person below.
Why?
Because that is how much their help and support mean to be (seriously).
I´m almost starting to cry here. And I very seldom do.
Don´t believe me?
Ask my better half, Sara. She can verify that I can watch the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio sinking into the water several times without crying.
And here´s the thing…
I would say that ALL of the people below have had a crucial part of my accomplishments and success.
You might be thinking, “But, Tor, why are you thanking me? I just did X. And it was a while ago.”
This is how it works:
Whether I read your book or you read one of the books I am featured in…
Whether I bought your online course or you bought mine…
Whether I participated in your post or you in mine…
Whether I shared your blog post or you mine….
Whether I told people that they needed to follow you or the other way around.
You get the point.
Regardless of the type of interaction we have had…
You have been an important piece in my journey. And without you, I would not have been where I am today.
So for that I am forever grateful.
My accomplishments are YOUR accomplishments.
My success is YOUR success.
Let´s start the gratitude journal by thanking the most important person…
You (yes, you).
Then over to the rest of the amazing people that have played an essential part in this journey.
Without further ado, here is the list of awesome peeps (in no particular order)…
This first part these awesome people has been covered in part 1, 2 and 3. If you have read this post from top to bottom, you will already have been familiar with their star power.

Note: In case you had a bad hair day, I thought it was safer to just put up a picture of the good ol´ Twitter egg head.
With every single fiber in my body and with all of my heart…
…I am eternally grateful for your support. I truly am.
Without your support, I could NEVER have managed to even have accomplished a fraction of what I have done.
And if you are familiar with my story, you probably know that the MAIN REASON why I decided to leave my six-figure corporate job in one of the biggest companies in Norway…
…was to make a real difference
…by helping people transform their lives
…while making a positive impact in the world.
Yeah, I know, we got a bit in the warm and fuzzy corner there.
Nevertheless, it´s still 100% true.

About Tor Refsland
I help online entrepreneurs NETWORK with influencers and position their BRAND so they can attract the right CLIENTS fast. Award-winning blogger.
Ryan Biddulph says
Hi Tor,
Beyond awesome bro, thanks so much for the shout and…..Happy Birthday!!
I am learning, slowly and surely, how almost all of these outcomes are kinda like vanity metrics 😉 Or, how when we get hyper clear like Frank we do as we do for the love of it and the money, and money making ideas, and right people and literally, everything flows to us…..and we move into the calm actions to manifest greater success and help folks and the process keeps expanding and multiplying and it’s beautiful how it all works.
I think of clarity, and see Frank’s clarity and how he kills it online, then I see the polar opposite of Leo B at Zen Habits, with the vanilla blog and like zero to minimal calls to action, and he has 2 million subscribers. 2,000,000. Both guys are clear on their direction so resistance they face is minimal and all else flows in – money, traffic, prospering ideas, etc – with increasing ease. Then, you continue to see Frank’s generosity with the charity, etc. Awesome how this works when you have clarity on your intent.
Fabulous post Tor. Thanks for giving us so much shine 🙂
Ryan
Tor Refsland says
Ryan, thanks a lot for commenting!
I really appreciate your kind words.
Yes, good example with Frank and Leo who have to completely different ways to position their brand, create content and run their business.
That being said, as you state, they are both totally killing it in the jungle (see, I just reused the new expression in the post 😉 )
I think that once you become clear of your own purpose: who you want to serve, how you are going to serve them, and then do so with your own voice and style, holding nothing back…
…you will get into a natural flow, and attract your ideal target audience.
It´s hard and scary as heck. But nothing worth accomplish is easy 🙂
Have a super day, my friend!
Tor

I think the tipping point is…
that you are willing to do WHATEVER it takes to succeed (in an ethical way).
That´s what will take your brand and business to the next level.
Have an amazing day, my friend!

Hey Fab,
I am so humbled by your kind words. Your comment just made my day 🙂
Connecting with people is the key to building a successful brand and business.
Even though connecting with influencers has been great.
It´s equally important to connect with the rising stars, your peers and last, but not least…
…your audience.
Without the last part, you have nothing.
Have a great day, my friend.
I wish you and your family an awesome Christmas holiday and New Year.
